Updated September 30, 2026. Short version: the state rebate is sold out for owner-occupied homes, still open for rentals, and utility incentives may still apply.

What this means for you

• Homeowners: do not count on the state rebate right now. Ask your contractor which utility incentives apply to your equipment and fuel.

• Everyone: incentives go through the contractor. Use one approved for the program, or you get nothing.
